The program is not difficult to install and supports all Windows versions up to date. The 3 MB of hard disk space occupied by the program's folder makes it ideal for older systems with limited hard disk space. Besides displaying all the recent accessed files and folders, Chameleon Folder can also be set to display certain files and folders from the user's hard disk. This can be configured in the program's options window.

Filters can be set, for displaying only certain types of files, allowing the user to find a specific item even faster. The software can be set to automatically start with Windows. The fact that it runs from the system tray will not distract the user from his work and will also allow accessing the desired files and folders in the easiest way possible.

It runs from the system tray, being very easy to access. Moreover, it displays all the recent files and folders. Furthermore, it can be configured to permanently display certain files and folders located on the user's hard disk. Last but not least, it can be set to start together with Windows.

Cons:
The options for adding favorite files and folders are a bit difficult to use.
